Day 3- August 31, 2010

Dinner side dishes before BiBimBop, which is a rice dish with meat, veggies and semi spicy pepper paste. The small dishes are Kimchi,Tofu, Mushrooms, Bean Sprouts, Green Beans and I'm not sure what the one on the lower right is. All that plus beer for 15,000 Won, or about 12 dollars. Not bad for two people! The lady who owned the restaurant was very friendly and kept asking us "Chinga's, Chinga's??" We were so confused, but she figured out the English word was friends. Overall, a lovely, successful outing for Emily and Lauren.

Seoul Subway! My first successful use of public transportation. On my way to Songtan where the US Air Force Base is. There are lots of bars, shops and restaurants, as well as people both American and Korean who speak English. Only took me three days... but don't worry mom, only officers.
