Day 68- November 3, 2010

Here is a Samgyopsal (grilled pork) table. Today as I was about to leave work, my coteacher said to me,  "Lauren, where are you going, we have a teacher dinner!" Today at school we had some kind of environmental teacher symposium, so I didn't have to teach, but all the teachers were working their butts off this week to prepare for it. In the end I got to reap the benefits of a free dinner and got to work on my grad school essays at the same time. The one funny story I would like to share is about how my head teacher, after taking a shot of soju with me, proceeded to physically feed me samgyopsal. Slightly awkward but apparently "korean tradition."
Special shoutout to Melissa S. Happy 23rd Schmee, celebrate like I know you can!
